NACCFL Agriculture Research & Training Center - Chitwan

The Training and Research Center, established by the Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Limited (NACCFL), plays a vital role in advancing agricultural practices and empowering farmers and all the stakeholder of primary agricultural cooperatives across Nepal. This center offers hands-on education, and capacity-building programs, helping farmers adopt modern agricultural techniques that improve productivity and sustainability. Special focus is given to hygienic post-harvest management, encouraging environmentally friendly methods that reduce chemical use and improve product quality.

Through various training programs, the Training and Research Center  equips farmers with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle challenges like climate change, market fluctuations, and rising production costs as well as related financial, technological and cooperative governance training thus enhancing their capacity to run a more financially healthy institution ensuring the inclusion. The center emphasizes sustainable farming techniques that prioritize soil health, water conservation, and long-term agricultural viability. It also supports research and innovation, providing farmers access to new tools and technologies that enhance farming practices and improve both yield and quality.
