
A 7-day climate-friendly (smart) agriculture ToT program has started today at NACCFL Training and Research Center in Chitwan, focusing on various aspects of climate change.
The first day covers an introduction to climate science, its impact on agriculture, climate risks, adaptation strategies, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable agricultural practices, and natural resource management.
Key resource persons include the head of the Agriculture Knowledge Center, Kavre, senior manager of the federation Deepakar Rupakheti, and climate-smart agriculture experts from the Agriculture and Forestry University.
Organized by the Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Ltd. (NACCFL ), the program is financially supported by Swiss Contact (CASA) and UKAID.
