Nepal Agriculture Cooperative Central Federation Limited (NACCFL) successfully kicked off a 14 days Training of Facilitators on Nutrition Field School (NFS) on 21st January 2026 in Nepalgunj, under the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The program brings together 30 local facilitators from Bardiya district to strengthen their capacities in maternal and child nutrition, and community-based nutrition education, food security and nutrition-sensitive sustainable agriculture practices. Upon completion of the training, the facilitators will conduct 45 Nutrition Field Schools, supporting sustainable improvements in food and nutrition security and enhancing the nutritional status of women, children, and vulnerable households.
