Mr. Khem Bahadur Pathak is the Founding Chairperson of Nepal Agriculture Cooperative Central Federation Ltd. (NACCFL) and its immediate past Chairperson, widely recognized as one of Nepal’s leading cooperative figures. Through his visionary leadership, he has significantly strengthened Nepal’s cooperative movement, empowering smallholder farmers, women, and marginalized communities across the country. He also serves as Chairperson of Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SKBBL) and has held key national roles, including Board Member of the National Cooperative Development Board and Vice-Chairperson of the National Cooperative Federation of Nepal. His leadership has advanced financial inclusion, institutional strengthening, and market access for cooperatives nationwide. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Mr. Pathak has received several prestigious honors, including the Prabal Janasewa Shri Fourth awarded by the President of Nepal and the Cooperative Award by the Prime Minister. He was also honored in Colombo, Sri Lanka, at the programme of International Cooperative Alliance Asia-Pacific as an Inspirational Cooperative Leader for his remarkable contribution to Nepal’s cooperative movement. In June 2024, he was elected as the Asian Constituency representative on the Board of Directors of the World Farmers’ Organisation, further strengthening Nepal’s voice in the global agricultural and cooperative sector. Mr. Pathak is regarded as a visionary leader committed to inclusive growth, cooperative excellence, and sustainable agricultural transformation.
